Length: 29Pal Zileri was started in 1980 in Vicenza, Italy; its name refers to the Palazzo Zileri, an ancient palace in the historic centre of Vicenza. All of the clothing made by Pal Zileri is produced either in the company's workshops in Quinto Vicentino or by local tailors.
This lovely jacket was thus produced by Italian craftsmen either in Quinto Vicentino or close by. I've included a picture of Quinto Vicentino so you know where this jacket was made!
The fabric is just as wonderful as the jacket. Woven by Fratelli Tallia Di Delfino or Strona, Italy, this comes from a weaver that was founded in 1903 and that continues to adhere to the highest standards of artisinal weaving.
Cut from beautifully soft Italian wool this jacket has a black (midnight blue?) base with a subdued beige miniature overcheck. Fully canvassed and fully lined this is unvented, as you'd expect from a more formal sports jacket like this, and features jetted pockets. It has three button cuffs.
